After your subscription is successfully cancelled,then you will continue to receive the premium support until the support period of your cancelled plan expires. After that, you won’t be allowed to access our themes or build new sites on our themes. However, you can still receive theme updates for downloaded themes.

As the number of themes in the collection is increasing, our developers have to put their best foot forward to revise themes and plan for the updates before implementing. Therefore, updating themes might take some time, but we’ll deliver as regularly as possible.
You must purchase the WordPress.com Business plan in order to be able to upload custom themes and plugins to your site. That is because free hosted WordPress.com sites cannot use external themes or plugins. Otherwise, your site must be self-hosted in order to install our themes and plugins.
